Great voices, excellent choreography, and fun full of special moments with great costumes. The energy was a bit restrained in the beginning, but began to pick up speed towards the end of the first half, finishing at full out where it remained for the rest of the play. Grizabella and Old Deuteronomy were pitch perfect and clear, unsurprisingly. Personally, as I wish I'd brought a copy of the lyrics with me, I was unable to understand a great deal, yet enough words popped out and the sense of each song was quite clear. The Siamese Cat, a notable exception, never once dropped character - Bravo! I was expecting the dancers to be much more cat-like than many of them actually were: perhaps it's almost the end of a long tour, and they're getting a bit tired. What wonderful voices!
